Celebrating a Century of Care, Innovation, and Community Impact

Toledo Clinic 100th Anniversary Celebration

The Toledo Clinic has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the region for 100 years, offering access to quality, affordable care across 40 medical and surgical specialties.

This press event officially launches the year-long centennial celebration, reinforces the Toledo Clinic’s role as a trusted community health leader, and highlights a variety of programs and initiatives designed to engage the community in health, wellness, and service.

Founded in 1926 by three physicians, the Clinic is still owned and led by doctors today – not a corporation. That independence allows us to focus on what matters most: quality care, more time with patients, and keeping healthcare affordable. Over the years, The Toledo Clinic has grown into a leading multi-specialty medical group, with more than 240 providers across over 40 medical and surgical specialties. Together, we proudly serve patients throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

Everything we do is guided by a legacy of teamwork, innovation, and trust. As we celebrate our 100th Anniversary, we’re not only honoring our past – we’re looking ahead to the future, committed to advancing care, expanding access, and improving the health and well-being of our patients. Reaching this milestone is a testament to the dedication of generations of physicians, caregivers, staff, and, of course, the patients who have entrusted us with their care.

But this centennial is not just about looking back – it’s about reaffirming our commitment to the future of health care in this region.

Throughout the coming year, The Toledo Clinic will highlight a variety of programs and initiatives focused on health and wellness education including a Centennial Health Fair featuring screenings and wellness resources, a 5k Run, and storytelling on social media where we will be highlighting our history, staff and the patients who have all helped to shape who we are today.

These efforts are designed to engage the community, promote healthier lives, and give back to the region that has supported us for 100 years.
