For 100 years, The Toledo Clinic has been a cornerstone of healthcare in our region, providing access to quality, affordable care across more than 40 medical and surgical specialties. Founded in 1926 by three physicians, The Toledo Clinic remains physician-owned and led today – not a corporation. That independence allows us to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality care, spending more time with patients, and keeping healthcare affordable. Over the past century, the Clinic has grown into a leading multi-specialty medical group with more than 240 providers serving patients across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the generations of physicians, caregivers, staff, and patients who have helped build our legacy of teamwork, innovation, and trust – while looking ahead to the future of healthcare in our community.
Throughout the coming year, The Toledo Clinic will host several community initiatives, including a Centennial Health Fair with screenings and wellness resources, a 5K run, and a social media storytelling series highlighting the people and moments that have shaped our history. These efforts are designed to engage the community, promote healthier lives, and give back to the region that has supported us for a century.
